Göran Bäck was one of Finland’s leading ceramic artists in the 20th century. He was part of the Nordic design tradition aiming for more beautiful every day goods for everybody. After working as a thrower at his sister’s pottery studio, Göran worked for the Arabia factory for more than 35 years.
Founded in 1873, Arabia of Finland has become one of the most renowned and highly regarded manufacturers of porcelain dishes in the world.
