Carl-Harry Stålhane designed ”Entré” (Entrance) in 1957 during the golden era of Swedish pottery. The series was then manufactured by the Rörstrand factory until 1960. It consists of tableware made of stoneware where carved parts are contrasted with glazed surfaces in modern colors.
Carl-Harry Stålhane (1920-1990) is one of the most renowned representatives of the illustrious Swedish ceramic design of the 20th century. He is well-known as the artistic leader for Rörstrand in the 1960s. His name is synonymous with high ceramic quality, magnificent creative design and brilliant craftsmanship. Stålhane is represented at the Swedish National Museum of Art and Design.
